Today’s flag is the Betsy Ross, otherwise known as the first flag of the United States. This particular Betsy Ross was belonged to John Alvis, who sparked my love of flags. This flag, along with the flag pole it’s flying on we’re gifts from Mr. Alvis’s daughter, Jeanne!
