My goal is to post about each flag that is hung on the flag pole at Cruesbreck House. I might do some pre posting and I might do some post posting, but I hope to get good information up about the flags flying.
Cruesbreck is the name of the house on a small island in the Orkney Islands of Scotland where my family came from many generations ago.

Today the flags of the United States and the United States Navy fly in commemoration or Armed Forces Day. Armed Forces Day honors the approximately 1.34 million women and men currently serving our nation in its six armed services: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Space Force.
