Today, the flag of Gibraltar flies, which, according to wikipedia, is an elongated banner of arms based on the coat of arms of Gibraltar, granted by Royal Warrant from Queen Isabella I of Castile on 10 July 1502.
The castle on this flag reminds me of the logo of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which is called the Corps Castle.
I was given this flag by my wife, who visited Gibraltar on a work trip in the early 2000’s.
