Today, the flag of the United States flies in memory of those who have given their lives in service to our country.
As prescribed in the Flag Code (4 USC 6), the flag is flown at half Staff until noon, then raised to full staff until sunset.
This flag is my first US Capitol flag, flown over the Capitol in February 1997.
