Today, the flag of Russia flies in commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of the launches of the spacecraft for the 1st international cooperative space mission, the Apollo Soyuz Test project. This mission was the first time spacecraft from two different countries docked in space. It laid the foundation for the International Space Station.
I should be flying a Soviet flag, but none of the versions of the flag that I have are suitable for the flagpole.
