Today , at just before Noon Astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico after spending just over two months on the International Space Station. Their ride to and from orbit was the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.
Their journey was the first launch of a crewed spacecraft from US soil in 9 years and the first return via splashdown in 45 years.
Today the flag of the United States and the flag of NASA flies in honor of their safe return to earth!
