Today, the flag of the province of New Brunswick flies. We were inspired to fly this flag by reading a great article in Vexillum, which is a publication of the North American Vexillological Association, entitled National and Provincial Symbols in Municipal Flags in Canada.
The provincial flag of New Brunswick was adopted in 1965, shortly after the Canadian maple leaf flag was inaugurated. It is the fifth flag in the order of precedence of Canadian national, provincial, and territorial flags.
