The flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Texas fly at half staff in memory of Dennis Miller, the long time proprietor of the Chaparral Barber Shop in Piedmont, who passed away in 2021.
Dennis was a good man who firmly believed in his country and was proud of his Texas heritage! He often would tell stories of his service in the armed forces. It was always fun to have political discussions with him, even when we were on opposite sides of the issues we were discussing. He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.
