Today, the flag of the United States flies in commemoration and remembrance of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 95th birthday. Dr. King’s legacy of action and work in the face of injustice are a lasting legacy to us all, especially in the times we are living in now.
Also flying today is the flag of Alameda County. This flag was a Christmas present this year.
