Today, the flag of the Kingdom of Belgium flies in celebration of the Belgian National Day. This day celebrates Prince Leopold’s swearing of allegiance to the constitution on this date in 1831, becoming the first King of the Belgians.
Also flying today is the flag of Wyoming, which I neglected to fly on July 10th, to celebrate the state’s admission to the Union on July 10, 1890.
