Today, the flag of the Oakland Ballers professional baseball team flies. The Ballers are, “…dedicated to delivering a joyful, community focused experience for Oakland and the entire East Bay. We vow to never leave town. Built by Oakland, for Oakland, forever Oakland.”
2025 is the Ballers second season in the Pioneer league and they’re on fire. They finished the regular season with a record of 73-23, winning 76% of their games. The closest team is 9 games back, the second closest team is 18.5 games back. They’ve dominated the league in both the first and second half of the season.
Tonight is game three of the divisional playoffs. It’s do or die against the Ogden Raptors. Each team has won one game and whoever wins tonight’s game goes to the Pioneer League Championship Series!
I will fly this flag as long at the Ballers season is still going. Hopefully, all the way to the Pioneer League Championship!
