December 7, 2025 – Pearl Harbor and Delaware

Today the flags of the United States and the State of Hawaii fly in memory of the over 2,000 sailors killed and over 1,000 sailors injured in the attacks on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Each year on December 7th, the Mt. Diablo Beacon is lit as a remembrance of the killed and wounded. If you’re able to get a view of the mountain after sunset, you’ll see the beacon blinking steadily all night!
