Today the flags of Morocco and Namibia fly.

The flag of Morocco was adopted in 1915. The red background on the Moroccan flag represents hardiness, bravery, strength and valour, while the green represents love, joy, wisdom, peace and hope; it also represents the color of Islam and the pentagram represents the seal of Solomon. The five branches also represent the pillars of Islam.

Also flying today is the flag of the African nation of Namibia, which was adopted in 1990 upon its independence from South Africa. The flag has a white-edged red diagonal band radiating from the lower hoist-side corner. The upper triangle is blue, charged with a gold sun with 12 triangular rays and the lower triangle is green. The origin of the flag is disputed, with several people claiming the design.
