Today, the flag of the League to Save Lake Tahoe flies, in celebration of my departed mother’s birthday. She is greatly missed.

She was remembered in her home town newspaper, the Piedmont Post, as follows:
Judith Rowe Tulloch passed away on June 15, 2022. A beloved Nana, mom, sister, aunt, and friend, she was a woman who lived life on her own terms.
Growing up in Piedmont, she loved spending many a summer at her family’s cabin on the north shore of Lake Tahoe.
She worked for Bechtel Corporation for many years and retired in 2000. While she was a longtime Bay Area resident, her work life took her to New York, Alaska, Boston, San Diego, Moscow, and Virginia, among many locations. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed exploring new places and cultures. She was an avid reader and loved attending theatre performances.
Affectionately known as “Nana,” one of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She loved the art of home decorating and spent a great deal of time creating a warm and inviting space, taking special pride in decorating her home for holidays throughout the year.
Her generous nature and huge heart will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, and many friends.
