Today, the flags of the United States and of the City of Piedmont fly at half staff in celebration of the life of longtime Piedmonter Tam Hege. Tam was a force of Nature in Piedmont, serving on the Board of Education, several city Commissions, and as a community volunteer. She was a longtime member of the Piedmont League of Women Voters. Tam was a wonderful person was a woman who was not to be trifled with. She will be missed.
