Today, the flags of the United States and the state of California fly at half staff in memory of Dr. Jim Saunders. Dr. Saunders and his wife Lynne have three children and numerous grandchildren. I was in the same class at Piedmont High School as their youngest. My heart goes out to the entire Saunders family.
